This small lidded jar was handbuilt using slabs of grogged stoneware clay, and hand-painted with a glaze motif on an underglaze background. The contrast in texture between the raw clay, underglaze surface and glaze decoration adds interest to this humble jar. Perfect for trinkets or purely for decoration.
